Last year Prince Charles announced a magnificent tree planting initiative to celebrate Her Majesty’s 70th year on the throne, The Queens Green Canopy
The initiative was marked when Prince Charles and Her Majesty planted a symbolic oak within the grounds of Windsor Castle. He said: “As we approach this most special year. I invite you all to join me to plant a tree for the Jubilee” and added with a twinkle in his eye, “in other words, a Tree-bilee!”
The initiative will hopefully encourage individuals, businesses, schools, villages, towns and cities to plant trees to the end of 2022.
